Over the years, we’ve had the honor of working with incredible individuals, families, and communities across Kentucky—many of whom have now been directly affected by the recent devastating tornadoes and floods. Some of our own clients, friends, and even loved ones have lost homes, memories, and a sense of normalcy. This isn’t just about headlines—it’s personal. That’s why we’re stepping up to raise funds for disaster relief and inviting you to join us.
Tornado Impact
In May 2025, a series of powerful tornadoes, including an EF-4 tornado with winds up to 170 mph, struck Kentucky, particularly affecting Laurel County and the city of London. These tornadoes resulted in at least 19 fatalities and caused extensive property damage. Early assessments indicated that more than 1,500 homes were destroyed or heavily damaged, with the total number of homes affected exceeding 5,000.
Flooding impact
Earlier in the year, Kentucky faced severe flooding, especially in February and April. In Perry County alone, 15 homes were destroyed, 77 sustained major damage, and 61 had minor damages. Statewide, the flooding led to the closure of over 540 roadways and left more than 1,000 people without water services.
